Treasurer’s report: Claude announced the club had a balance of $1,871 at the end of August, with the loppet fund with $1,778 to a total of approximately $3,500
Claude also announced that room rental at Kerry Wood went up $130 from last year.
V.P report. Mike said that he would have a schedule of courses available for the next meeting along with signup sheets
Newsletter Editor: Terry warned that the deadline for submissions was in the middle of the month
Social Committee: Steve passed around a sign-up sheet for snacks for after each general meeting and for the trail prep. Work party
Day Trip Chairman: John asked interested leaders to submit day tours to him. Lessons have been scheduled for early in the New Year.
Web Master: Dick has agreed to work on this for the next few years and he was congratulated for the fine job he has been doing
Mountain Tour Chairman: Don reported that the “Boot Camp” trip to Steve and Sandy’s is on Oct 27, the Remembrance Day dash was cancelled because the Shunda Hostel was completely booked and that the next trip is a backpacking trip into Egypt Lakes Hut

Work Party at River Bend on Sunday Oct 14 from 10:00 – 12.00 Coffee and muffins at 9:30 and chili on a bun afterwards
Waxing Party is on Nov 18 at 2:00 in the garage at 4301- 46 Ave. Please bring wax benches and waxing irons if you have them and for sure bring your skis to be cleaned and prepped for the winter ski season. Pizza and dessert will follow.

Dec. Meeting: Wolf Howl at Mackenzie trails or some outdoor activity on snow.
3. Other items Barb Spencer showed the various styles and colors of t-shirt, hoodies sweatshirts etc but nobody had the previous edition of the t-shirt design. That will be available at the next meeting.
